Nevarra: The Age of Peace
Since Experience and level gains aren’t quantified in my game, I’ve come up with another way to reward achievements. Whenever you complete a quest or finish an adventure, the party is rewarded with Glory Points. There are four types of glory points gained by parties each with their own uses and rules: Group, Named, Miasmic, and Personal. The first three types of Glory are gained as a group and are used by the group as a whole, most glory that is gained are these group types of glory. Personal Glory is gained whenever a single party member does something amazing, or if a party decided to turn a point of group glory into a point of personal glory for everyone. Personal Glory gained through awesome stuff will likely have contextual options available to it, that won’t be listed here. Unexpended Glory always provides a passive benefit of some kind, but can be expended for greater effects.
+1 Circumstance Bonus per Glory to all social checks (Diplomacy, Intimidate, Bluff, Sense Motive), having at least a single unspent group glory negates a Charisma penalty to social skill rolls (Max of Party Level Bonus)
- Everyone gains 1 point of Personal glory
- A group wide check may be succeeded by everyone
- A party item may be granted power (Some items may take more than one point to advance)
Named Glory provides a defensive bonus against the type, look at the affinity page for the different types. (Flaming Glory would provide stacking Fire Resistance)
Named Glory may be expended to empower a character’s personal item this may change the item drastically if the item is not of the same type.
The party may re-roll a number of D20s during a Miasma encounter equal to the amount of Miasmic Glory you have. (Not per person)
You may reroll a Miasma Percentile after the result is revealed, taking the new result or old result at your discretion.

- A personal item may be granted power (Some items may take more than one point to advance)
- You may turn a failure on a dice roll into a success
- As mentioned previously Personal Glory gained through awesomeness will have other contextual options for expenditure.
